The man turns out to be a man that Catherine Parker visited every spring, and stayed at his Bed and Breakfast The man (Ben Miller) was in love with Catherine He shows Miss Parker the room where she stayed - untouched since she last visited In a trunk, Miss Parker finds an enveloped marked "Rescued". Inside the envelope are documentation, birth certificates, and pictures of children
